It's possible that you'll require two different spill kits. Spill kits for general use are color-coded blue and contain grey absorbents. With the exception of harsh acids or bases, they are appropriate for any liquid spills. Hydrocarbon spill kits are colored yellow and contain white absorbents.

A minor chemical spill is one that can be properly handled by laboratory workers without the aid of safety and emergency services. Moreover, Spill kit alerts the people to the location of the spill.

Insulating rubber gloves, when chosen appropriately, will protect the worker from electrical shock. Don't forget about leather protectors; the important aspect is wearing and using insulating rubber gloves properly.

The ideal materials which are commonly used to make heat-resistant work gloves are Kevlar, terry knit, carbon fiber, or a combination of these fibers. Depending on the sort of heat threat, influences the need of different types of hand protection.
