A welding cable is an electrical conductor for the welding. This cable consists of a series of copper strands wrapped inside a non-conductive jacket that is made of synthetic or natural rubber. Copper Welding Cable are fabricated from high grade copper thus ensuring higher conductivity and also features abrasion and heat resistance with greater strength and flexibility. The copper welding wire used for power supply applications are offered in different options of thickness of insulation, number nom. dia of wires (mm) and nominal cross sectional area of conductor (mm).

• The welding cable single core consists of 999/0.3mm (70 sq.mm)
• Electrolytic grade annealed tinned high conductivity copper wire is made as per IS : 8130/1984, covering of HOFR (heat oil resistant flame retardant) heavy duty NBR-PVC (type SE-3) as per IS: 6380/1984, and is suitable for current capacity 600amps
• The thickness of insulation is 2.4mm (nominal) and general specifications of the cable to be as per IS: 9857/1990
• This cable should be supplied in coil with each coil of 20 meters
• Length in each coil with lugs on either side and should be wounded in wooden spool.
